"Love those c****... always get me off my ass when they play. The lads are great musicians and she [Brittany] has got the charisma bangin." - Johno Whelan, Overstay regular
"They could be one of the most original things I've seen in a long time," said Yuval Schwok owner and manager of Overstay. Impressive statement about a band who admittedly had no idea an underground scene existed until recently. There was a time when the only music you found was cover bands. Now the city is giving birth to mean, gritty original music like Deadtown Trash.
The understated, well-respected bassist of Demon Sugar, Ben Cleary, had the following to say: "They're probably my favorite band in Bangkok to watch mainly because the singer is incredible... I never placed a lot of value on a vocalist..." The band has also gained fans from another band they admire and have been playing alongside quite a bit: Degaruda. The universal message has consistently been: This band fucking rocks.
Deadtown Trash are amongst the new wave of badass rock 'n' roll bands spreading their music like a pandemic in the city of angels. Expect an unforgettable -in-you-face WTF is happening performance. Deadtown Trash along with The Sangsom Massacre are opening for The Cairos at Cosmic Cafe Friday May 16 and performing at Fatty Fest on May 17.
